Veronica Coady | Registered Psycholigist

Dr Veronica Coady (PhD)

BA, Post Grad Diploma in Psychology, Doctor of Philosophy

Veronica is a registered psychologist and works across the lifespan. She is available for Telehealth appointments, Australia Wide, and face to face appointments in the Inner North and West suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria.

Veronica has a special interest in resilience and hope. Her doctorate research topic was exploring coping and resilience in people living with Parkinson’s disease in rural Australia. She has experience across multiple settings, having worked in community mental health at headspace, schools and kindergartens, within the scope of NDIS and Medicare, and with full fee-paying clients.

Veronica uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches to care, and her work is client centred. She provides a safe compassionate space for people to find their own hope and strength to move forward while managing symptoms and/or life challenges. Sessions are planned out to meet individual needs with a focus on strengths-based approaches that encourage a growth mindset. This includes providing clients and their supports (where required) psycho education, and ensuring they have resources to support themselves outside the session.

Veronica is also available for assessments and related reports. However, she does not provide court reports.
