Please note that Park Bench Psychology fees are substantially lower that the AAPI National Schedule of Recommended Fees 2025-2026 which has the standard 40-60 minute consultation fee at $330.

Assessments

  • Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Assessment

    Cost $1950

    Prices include pre-assessment screening, assessment session, online assessments, information gathering, comprehensive written report and feedback session.

    Please note that psychologists do not prescribe medication, instead they provide therapeutic intervention for ADHD. If you would like to discuss medication options your GP can refer you to a psychiatrist or paediatrician to confirm diagnosis and consult with you regarding medication matters.

    Some GPs also provide ADHD assessments but not cognitive assessment.

  • Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) Assessment

    Cost $1950

    Prices include pre-assessment screening, interview assessment session, information gathering, comprehensive written report and feedback session.

    Please also note that it is best practice for an autism assessment to be completed by a multidisciplinary team. Therefore, it is standard that Park Bench Psychology will work closely with your psychiatrist, paediatrician as well as other allied health professionals such as Occupational Therapist and Speech and Language Therapist to confirm diagnosis.

  • Wechsler Intelligence Scale

    Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC)

    Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Adult (WAIS)

  • Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT)

    Cost $850

    Please note that a WISC may also be required for the WIAT assessment - depending on when the last one was completed (if any).

    Prices include pre-assessment screening (WISC, WAIS, WIAT), interview assessment session or clinical interview, online assessments (adult comprehensive mental health assessments), comprehensive written report and feedback session.

Cancellation/Change of Appointment Policy

Park Bench Psychology will charge the full fee for any appointments cancelled within 2 business days of the allocated appointment time.

This also applies to “no show” appointments or people attending their session late- over 15mins into the session time without any communication regarding this lateness.

All outstanding fees need to be finalised prior to booking any future appointments.

Payment

  • Full payment is due on the day of the appointment.
  • Medicare rebates are available for therapy to those who have a Mental health care plan from their GP or Psychiatrist.
  • NDIS clients that are self or plan managed will be invoiced via email and payment will be required within 14 days
  • Clients with private health cover will need to check with their provider regarding rebates.
